VOY dark frontier, time on borg ship

In VOY dark frontier, during the rehearsal for operation fort knox when the crew was training on the holodeck to steal a transwarp coil, they said they needed to shave a few seconds off their time, so why didn't they just run a bit faster for part of their mission on the borg ship? 🤔🤨 That would've easily shaved a few seconds off their time.

Thanks @Guy of V, that's true, however I was actually asking about it as an in universe explanation. I guess I could've specified that in the title.

Another production explanation could be that it provided a narrative to introduce the biodampener, but even that still wouldn't really explain it in universe. Surely there was a way they could'vr completed the mission a bit quicker in universe.

Running would have attracted more attention than walking, as far as I know Borg don't run they kinda power walk

Running would have caused them to either attract the attention of the borg or lose their sense of direction on the borg vessel
