This post is part of an ongoing series:
Originally I intended it to become one coherent report of the Science Fiction Treffen Con in Speyer, Germany.
For some of the visitors of whom we had taken photos, I waited for the emails giving me permission to publish their images. When emails started to come in, I tried to add them into the report I had posted directly after the event, but it turned out to be impossible, because posts are locked from editing after 24 hrs, and so I started to post amendements.
So, in the given situation, if you haven't already read the main text, you should read it first here:
And the first addition here:
Now without further ado,
finally here are the people I met at the Star Trek booth!
They were super freindly and I had a really nice conversation (we agree on disliking the DIS Klingons a lot), and the material they brought was awesome.
This Bat'leth was made of wood, but the weapons on the stand in the background were steel. We were allowed to hold them.
A nice Andorian and half of a starfleet officer ;-)
You should really have a look at the first post, there are more pictures of the really impressive Star Trek booth.
On another picture in the first addition, in the background of some Star Wars cosplayers, you can see a another section of the Star Trek booth with a homemade boardgame "Danopoly" on display. I just realized that this was probably named after the Danube, the ship of the personas of the Star Trek club presented here.
This were the last photos I have, not counting the ones I can't publish, because they show a single, recognizeable person and I don't have the contact data to ask for permission. For example, there was a young men as a stunnig Anakin Skywalker near the dark side, down to red-yellow contact lenses.
But still, the fried who accompanied me at the con has some photos he didn't give me yet, so perhaps there will be one last amendement.
