The opening paragraph of this entry on the BBC series Doctor Who is surely no longer up-to-date: Currently, the second sentence reads: “Like Lost in Space and The Twilight Zone, it is one of very few English-language science fiction franchises that are older than Star Trek and currently in production, and the only such franchise maintaining narrative continuity since its inception.”
However, neither of the most recent incarnations of Lost in Space and The Twilight Zone can now be said to be currently in production, so I suggest that the sentence could be edited down to the following:
”It is the only English-language science fiction franchise in the world which is both older than Star Trek and still currently in production.”
