Always liked TNG's portrayal of good ol' Mark Twain. As a kid, it was my first real exposure to him as a person, and I've found in the years since, the portrayal really does hold up to scrutiny.

Sam Clemens. I am a great fan of the works of Mark Twain, and Jerry Hardin (wonderful actor…”When the Bough Breaks”, “Emanations”, “Deep Throat” in another series…) is terrific in the role.

2nd to Amelia Earhart. “The 37s” is a favorite. The opening, with the farmer’s truck floating in space (RIP Mel Winkler), reminds me strongly of a TOS.
