Do the borg have emotions, and if so, what kind, and in what circumstances?
In VOY dark frontier, the borg queen tells seven to take pleasure in assimilating people. Do the borg take pleasure in assimilating people?

Well, she (the queen) does at least. But the average run of the mill Borg drone shouldn't--it's been established repeatedly that Borg drones have their emotions suppressed upon assimilation, and any instance where they didn't was usually a sign of something having gone wrong or not working as it should, something the Collective was usually swift to excise or correct, depending on the situation.
The Queen is a manifestation Collective (at least that is how I perceive) the individual drone are just fingers and thumbs hands and toes. Does a hand feel pleasure or does the brain?
Only the queen & maybe locutus. We all saw Picard shed a tear after wolf 359. The queen was angry when data betrayed her.
@Scyphi I completely forgot that the borg actually used technology which was specifically designed to suppress the emotions of the borg drones. However, I agree that the borg queen definitely seemed to have emotions. The borg queen was an interesting character, and was well played by krige and thompson, but I think she was overused, especially in VOY. I much preferred the borg as a collective, the way they were in TNG.
