So, a friend and I were discussing about modding for a certain videogame when we noticed that the Treaty of Algeron on the 32nd century seems null and void.
Does that mean Federation vessels could carry a phasing cloaking device legally? If so, how common do you think it would be?

Why did the defiant use a romulan cloaking device, and not the phasing cloaking device from the pegasus?
While on the defiant in DS9 the way of the warrior worf said he's never been on a federation ship with a cloaking device, but earlier in TNG the pegasus he was on a federation ship with a cloaking device, so why did he say that? Did he just forget, or did he not consider that significant (since he was on the enterprise-d that was only temporarily equipped with a prototype phasing cloaking device)? What do you think? 🤔
