When the original U.S.S. Enterprise (NCC-1701) was given a parody-tribute in a 1995 Veggie Tales episode as the U.S.S. Applepies?
Having watched episodes of that sweet show in early childhood, I realize now that that was my very first exposure to anything from Star Trek, even if in tribute parody fashion, and I didn't even realize it back then.
Would you like to see the original casts of TOS (remaining ones), TNG, DS9, VOY & ENT release some new bonus material episodes from their shows, possibly similar to "star trek short treks" (DIS) or even longer? In this era of reboots, remakes, sequels, and prequels with original and new actors, and the new popularity of star trek with all the new shows & movies, they could conceivably make some. It would be pretty cool for the fans. What do you think?
- VOY could show what happened after the crew got home.
- DS9 could show what happened after the Dominion war ended.
- TNG could show what happened after nemesis (and maybe tie into PIC, or just exist in a separate timeline).
- ENT could show a better ending.
- TOS could give an update on what happened to some of the characters (and possibly tie into other series & the reboot movies).
