Telepathy

Here's my idea for a Star Trek story that I've been working on! ✨️✨️✨️

It centers around Simon Tarses, now the Captain of the experimental science vessel Oddity. Alongside him are his First Officer Commander Lorelei Hopkins, his closest friend from Starfleet Academy and Ensign Reaha Bo, a Vulcan-Betazoid hybrid and a gifted Engineer⭐️⭐️⭐️

I mostly wanted to do something for Simon because, let's be honest, after what happened in "The Drumhead" he deserved better💖💖💖

For an original Star Trek story I've been working on, I've come up with a character who's part Vulcan and part Betazoid.

Knowing that both these species are telepathic and they express emotions differently, it's been a tad bit of a challenge to come up with the character's personality.

They would either have the logic of a Vulcan, the emotional intelligence of a Betazoid or a little bit of both.

Does anyone out there have a little advice on how to flesh out this character?🤔

(Also... what would happen if they go through the Pon Farr and/or the Phase?)
