Why did VOY's crew often seem to be able to defeat the borg so easily (like in VOY dark frontier, and unimatrix zero), if the borg were supposed to be very powerful?

Which episodes/stories deserved more of a follow up in other episodes, what kind of follow up would you have chosen, and why?
Here are some of my choices for follow up episodes/stories:
TNG encounter at farpoint (exploring what happened to mccoy)
TNG the naked now (data and yar could've had a relationship)
TNG conspiracy (the alien parasites could've made other appearances in starfleet)
TNG unification (learning more about sela, romulan society, and the dissident movement)
TNG cause and effect (exploring what happened to bateson's crew)
TNG relics (exploring what happened to scott)
VOY equinox (the story of the equinox should've been a multi episode story arc)
VOY unimatrix zero (exploring what happened to the independent borg)

POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR "Farewell" (PIC 2x10) are in the post below.
If Doctor Anges Jurati becomes the Borg Queen in 2024, or at least starts her metamorphasis then, and is still Borg Queen in 2401, and has been continuously, does that change or negate the actions of the Borg and their Queen as we have seen prior, as portrayed by Alice Kirge & Susanna Thompson? Does it change the events we see in First Contact (TNG feature film), "Dark Frontier" (VOY 5x15 & 16), "Unimatrix Zero" (VOY 6x26 & 7x1), and "Endgame" (VOY 7x25 & 26)? What do you think?

If disconnecting a borg drone from the collective was apparently something the collective couldn't do once a drone had been added to the collective because it would be like disconnecting an arm or a foot according to crusher in TNG the best of both worlds, then how come the borg queen could disconnect drones so easily, and even destroy entire cubes of drones (VOY unimatrix zero), thus disconnecting them from the collective?

In no way am I trying to say that VOY borg are as strong as the borg in best of both worlds. I'm trying to say that some of the complaints used against unimatrix zero can be said against best of both worlds.
Mechanical arms: I will admit that I thought that at least one of the three that got assimilated should've got an mechanical arm. But Picard/Locutus got a mechanical arm and was fine next episode. So even if they did, I don't think it'd be much of an issue. I'll reply with pictures.
Viruses/weapons: so in unimatrix zero they made a virus against the borg which is a complaint. But in best of both worlds they were coming up with weapons there too. And they'd only seen the borg once before that time. By unimatrix zero, they'd encountered the borg several times and even had a former borg apart of their crew.
Easily treated after assimilation: That was the case in best of both worlds too. Picard was normal as if nothing happened next episode.
