This should be listed under spoilers as there are those I'm sure that have yet seen the episode
TNG "the Chase" established a progenitor race to the various species we know of, so it makes sense for discovery s5 to start how it has. Especially with the kind of tech being safeguarded by the federation instead of falling into the wrong hands, but so far I love the current season and the fact it's going to be more episodic even if having a season spanning story arc they are peppering it with smaller story arcs
I've tested this thought on star trek bridge commander years ago. Both ships at their very best per class. The sovereign defeats the defiant . But like others have said. It comes down less to the ships themselves but their commanding officers
An intrepid class would run rings around the galaxy class but in a slugest of phaser fire the galaxy would stomp the intrepid
To be fair. Yes layoffs suck no 2 ways about it. But we don't know how things will go. For all any of us know sto and maybe Neverwinter will remain with the team they both have. I read the article n I gotta agree with him.
The Borg.... Before they got Voyagered
Looks better then the pizza pan Cali class
Never
The courage class
An interesting concept idea however. As established in star trek enterprise. All ships leave plasma trails. If you put nacelles Infront of a ship even with the bulk of the ship you risk problems with ships systems
The crossfield class
The majority of the ships in star trek online have already been seen on the shows or movies with some being originals designed by the games devs. Only the Luna class and Odyssey classes started as fan designs that went on to become canon albeit with some tweaks
^ is the spam really nessasary?
Who Lorca? Na he was pretty interesting tbh and I for one was surprised when they revealed him to be the mirror universe doppelganger to the prime universe lorca
Galaxy and Odyssey and sovereign classes
Don't let the space police see it. Space doughnuts lol
The Odyssey class is my next favorite class after the sovereign and galaxy class looks good with and without the saucer section
Tbh I'm not a fan of either but if you all recall them showing a flashback of Picard and what's her name in the 2385 uniforms those I really liked and wish we'd gotten to see more of
I personally love the gracefully lines of the galaxy class but I can however understand the dislike by many, saucer section is too large in proportion to the stardrive, the nacelles are too stubby, but then again she was designed during a time when the federation was not on a combat footing with its ship designs which changed in light of first contact with the Dominion. Also I really liked the E-D interior circa 2360s and the refit in 2371
Honestly I have to agree. The titan A was a fitting name for the ship to start with they should have just did a new class ships or refit of even the Odyssey class (Sojourn class, Yorktown class) as the E-G instead
