So in VOY, we see the quantum slipstream drive which could be used to transport a vessel tens of thousands of light years away. However, it was proved to be unsafe. Now back to DIS. The 3rd season of DIS is around 800 years after VOY. So, shouldn’t federation scientists have figured out a way to make the QSD safe? They had like 800 years
