I really enjoy this quote every time I see it.
I love him but I was kind of disappointed with what the writers did to the character in Season 3
DS9
TNG
TOS
VOY
DSC
ENT
LD
TAS
PIC
I don’t see why that would be so important. I’m fine with the way it was handled
@Icecreamdif How is that different from the Ferengis? I’m sure there are many who treat women better than the law needs them to (Rom for example).
Maybe we can stop talking about our political views and how offended we or the other side can be and get back to talking about the character ?
I thought it was a very interesting scene and always wondered what happened to her. Also kind of funny how she thought Picard would be mad and not understanding.
It’s not slavery, it’s their culture. They do not force the women to work, they just have a (very unique) dress code for them. I don’t see how that is slavery. Women on Earth did not used to work for a long time either yet I have never heard anyone claim that to be slavery.
This is ridiculous. How do you know that none of the people are Jewish? They don’t talk about it in the Shows. And religion is getting less and less important to a lot of people these days so it is completely logical if there are no or few Jewish people in that time. But again, there is no proof at all that there‘s no Jewish people in Star Trek.
@Kvile2000 I don‘t think there is any information on how exactly shape shifting works. But there are some things that can be used to change mass, I assume one of them would be used by changeling
Klingons or Romulans. There isnt enough information about how civilians live to really choose with certainty in my opinion but Cardies and the Dominion are to oppressive, Klingons have a good honor code and Romulans appear to have some sort of democracy so one of them would be best for me.
I actually loved the character and the concept of Section 31
I never thought of Q as a villain.
But otherwise all of the people on this list were great villains for different reasons.
Isnt lobot a normal human with a kind of computer in his head?
Someone like that couldnt do anything against a borg with all their enhancements and gear
8 to 9. If Michael Burnham wasn't the only person who is important in literally episode it would be better. That really annoyed me in season 3.
I really like him. I like most Vulcans but him especially.
^But wasnt it more like exchanging POWs? Ishka was captured by the dominion and imprisoned, same for the Vorta. So it's just giving back POWs to the civilization they belong to.
Yes. But a Nagus should be more. He should prioritize the stability of the exchange market because he earns more latinum than anyone else anyways. Quark once said he is supposed to reflect the public's greed (or something like that). Greedy yes, but not like Brunt, risking the Ferengi alliance just to get Zek to be overthrown.
@Michael Benucci Why Brunt? He's better than Rom but I always felt like he would use the position for personal gain more than others would and he wouldnt help the Ferengi society and their market as much.
I agree. He is in the center of the two and isnt for radical reforms but also not against some reforms that would help the Ferengi alliance without creating instability
