Was it retconned? I didn't notice any retcons.
So? It's a fictional universe anyways. We didn't have Khan take over the world in the 90s, you don't see anybody complaining about that.
I like the yellow.
Because even after almost 70 years, Trek refuses to properly rank it's uniforms.
I did notice during season 2 they also ignored the several times Picard got laid. Including most egregiously, the archeologist chick who left Picard for Q.
Besides some of these are characters that probably shouldn't have shown up anyways.
Although they already finished filming so whose to say they aren't lying?
Pretty? I guess. A masterpiece? No. It's got less plot than you could write down on a napkin at McDonald's.
Yeah and the NX actually existed, since Troi literally says she went to it as a kid in that episode.
According to Koenig himself, they met in that realm never shown in TOS.... The Men's Room lol.
At this point the relationship has already lead to some very bad situations.... Best case scenario, they get their minds wiped. Worst case scenario she is removed from the timeline and is actually the cause of the Confederacy because she didn't heal some dude in the past. Other worst case scenario is Rios becomes his own grandfather but admittedly that's only disturbing on a personal level.
As weird as a tri-nacelle design is... It kinda works for the Galaxy. Shoves more junk in the trunk to balance out the dangerously large saucer. It's a crude solution, but it somehow works.
I like it, lol.
Heck, the U.S.S. Reliant was more reliable than the D lol.
And the inertial dampeners that failed to dampen any inertia.
Don't forget she died because of one century-old torpedo hit.
The E, looks better than the D. Not saying the D is ugly but...well actually yeah all I can say is the D is ugly to me.
Well actually the Turbolasers are "lasers" in name only, in fact all Star Wars weapons are. Technically, they are plasma based weapons.
However, the Republic can't shoot if they can't get to the Federation. And considering how frequent spatial anomalies are in Star Trek versus Star Wars, plus the fact that there's no hyperspace routes or charts of the Milky Way Galaxy, thus making hyperspace jumps essentially a suicide mission, the Galactic Republic would be drastically hindered, if not outright stopped from attacking.
Neutropia... That's a new one lol. What is it, "in the future, humanity will be mundane"?
It would make sense for them to be on the ship... Be really weird if after Pike's accident they just replaced the entire command staff with random people.
It's just the same deal as Shatner not playing Kirk in SNW. Obviously he's too old to play a younger Kirk. And while de-aging can do some things, I don't know if it could hide the fact he doesn't fit the uniform lol.
