Perhaps it’s a quantum leap situation where the characters are played by spiner but don’t look like that in universe.

It depends on the era. IIRC, the creator of the transporter beamed his son and the pattern somehow got lost, and was only found years later, however his pattern degraded too much so he died shortly after being rematerialized. However, it would probably be easier in Discovery because the transporters are even newer than in relics.

@Guy of V what do you mean? Discovery season 4 is out, Lower Decks season 4 has already been ordered, and prodigy is still only on season 1. The only other show that lasted 3 seasons was TOS, the opposite of modern trek.

I'm not sure because I am not able to find any info on where it is streaming in Malaysia. Maybe you're trying to stream season 2 which isn't out yet, I'm not familiar enough with prime video to know if that's possible.

What you want to do is google "Star Trek: Picard" and then look at the "Watch Show" tab on the right, then you want to click on "more watch options" if Prime Video is on the list, then I'm guessing you either don't have a high enough subscription, you're trying to watch season 2 or there's its a client-side/local issue.

I would recommend that you stop watching discovery after season 2 then watch all the other shows then continue discovery. I’m not saying that because it’s bad but because there’s a major event in s2 that changes a lot.
