Okay, so, I hear SNW season 3 got some bad rep, and I can kind of understand why... the overarching plot involving those ancient non-corporeal demon creatures was pretty weird, and while I like existential threats, the explanation of "good" and "evil" felt kinda rushed. Not saying that couldn't be part of it, but the "way they came to that determination" just felt rushed and contrived.
But can we at least give Episode 2: "Wedding Bell Blues" and Episode 9: "Terrarium" the credit they deserve? Episode 2 elevated long beloved and long mystery-shrouded character Trelane to the Q-continuum status we've long suspected he had, and episode 9 made the future peace between humans and Gorn possible while also tying in the Metrons.
So while I agree, much of the season was forgettable, I feel like those two episodes gave us much more satisfying tie-ins to the rest of Star Trek lore, and I feel like they deserve to be judged by different standards than the rest of the season
