La vie n'est pas facile pour Worf, premier jeune Klingon à entrer à Starfleet Académie.
Car l'Empire Klingon a longtemps été l'ennemi de la Fédération, et il en reste quelque chose.
Repoussé par ses camarades de classe, victime de leur intolérance, Worf devra surmonter ces obstacles s'il veut devenir officier de Starfleet et être le premier Klingon à servir à bord du célèbre vaisseau Entreprise.
