The 18th century CE is defined by the calendar of Earth as occurring from the year 1700 through the year 1799.

American Indian settlement

1776 CE: The United States of America declares independence from Great Britain following the American Revolution. (TNG: "The High Ground")

1790 CE: French military uniforms worn by the creations of Q on an unnamed planet are from this year. According to Data, the uniforms would be discontinued or changed in 1800. (TNG: "Hide and Q")
