- Miles O'Brien and Kira Nerys briefly appear in San Francisco while attempting to locate the time frame that Benjamin Sisko, Jadzia Dax, and Julian Bashir materialized in. They beam out in front of two hippies after being given flowers and exchanging peace signs. (DS9: "Past Tense, Part II")
- A riot against the Brush Wars occurs in Santa Cruz, requiring police to break it up with tear gas. (VOY: "Future's End")
- In an alternate timeline, the Federation timeship Aeon crash lands in the High Sierras, California after its navigation system is knocked offline during an attack on the USS Voyager in 2373. Captain Braxton performs an emergency beam-out and attempts to search for his lost ship. Unfortunately, it is found by Henry Starling first, who takes it and begins to use its advanced technology to found Chronowerx Industries and start the microprocessor revolution.
