Movies
- Star Trek: The Motion Picture (possible date)
Events
- V'Ger heads for Earth. Admiral James T. Kirk assumes command of the USS Enterprise to stop it from destroying the planet. (Star Trek: The Motion Picture)
- The Battle of Klach D'Kel Brakt takes place, which marks the end of the Romulan-Klingon Alliance.
Notes
- There is some controversy over the dating of the first Star Trek movie. The year 2272 is derived based on information from VOY: "Q2," which stated that Captain James T. Kirk's first five-year mission aboard the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) ended in 2270, and information from Star Trek: The Motion Picture, which stated that Kirk had not "logged a single star hour in two and a half years."
