40 Eridani A I was the first planet orbiting the star 40 Eridani A in the Vulcan system. This planet was located in the Vulcan sector, Beta Quadrant, and was approximately 16 light years from Sol.
This uninhabited class B planet had no moons.
In 2259, the planet's name, its position in the system, and its orbital path were seen on a display graphic of the shuttle Cervantes. (SNW: "Charades")
This planet was only mentioned in writing.
In 2022, this graphic was first seen in a tweet by Timothy Peel. For the episode "Charades", text about the 40 Eridani system and the Kerkhovian system were added to the graphic. [1] [2]
The current location of 40 Eridani A I in the Beta Quadrant was based on the most recent star charts seen in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Star Trek: Section 31.
