A Briefing with Neelix is the title of daily news programme on the USS Voyager hosted by Neelix. The programme featured news, cookery, entertainment, updates on the ship's progress from Captain Janeway, crew commendations from Commander Chakotay, and medical information from The Doctor.
During the production of this programme, Neelix learned that Tom Paris had asked to be put off the ship. He soon discovered that this was part of an elaborate plan to discover the identity of the Voyager crewmember that had been providing information to the Kazon-Nistrim, which was later revealed to be Michael Jonas.
