Ada Maris (born 13 June 1957; age 67) is the actress who played Hernandez in the Star Trek: Enterprise fourth season episodes "Home", "Affliction", and "Divergence".

Her husband, actor Tony Plana, appeared in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

She has starred as Gina Cuevas in the popular television series Nurses. Maris also starred as (grand)mother Sonia Garcia on the children's series The Brothers Garcia and it's spinoff The Garcias, which was the most popular television program on it's channel at the time. She also guest starred in many television series including The Cosby Show, Knight Rider (starring Patricia McPherson and William Daniels, with Henry Darrow and Alan Gibbs), Superboy, Home Improvement (with James W. Jansen and Sherman Howard), Nash Bridges (with Mary Mara, Caroline Lagerfelt, Kate Vernon, and Lee Arenberg), Walker, Texas Ranger, and The District (starring Roger Aaron Brown),

She also appeared in the 1996 film 2 Days in the Valley, with Teri Hatcher, Keith Carradine, Louise Fletcher, Lawrence Tierney, and Danny Nero.

More recently, she had a recurring role in the Sons of Anarchy spin-off series Mayans M.C., with Ivo Nandi and Tony Plana, and reprised her role as Sonia Garcia in the successful The Brothers Garcia sequel series The Garcias.
