The adjudication geode was a large geode described by the Gelrakians as "a special kind of constitutional crystal that [they] use to legally smoosh criminals."

In 2380, the Gelrakians planned to execute an away team from the USS Cerritos with the adjudication geode if they lost a trial by combat. At that time, the adjudication geode had never actually been used to crush anyone. After Commander Jack Ransom won the trial, the Gelrakians considered switching to a different justice system.
