"Ak'la bella doo" was a Klingon love song, which Jadzia Dax taught to the Klingon Chef whose restaurant was on Deep Space 9's Promenade. He was amazed that the Trill knew a song of which he had never heard. (DS9: "Playing God")

The Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 1, p. 13 described the Ak'la bella doo as a Klingon folk song.

According to the script, this was "...the kind of song Nelson Eddy would have sung to Jeanette MacDonald if they had been Klingons..." [1]
