Al Rodrigo (born 29 May 1960; age 65) played Bernardo Calvera in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine third season episodes "Past Tense, Part I" and "Past Tense, Part II". A quarter-of-a-century later, he returned to provide the voice of Captain Durango for the Star Trek: Lower Decks episodes "Moist Vessel" and "The Stars At Night".

Al Rodrigo has had supporting roles in films such as The Birdcage (1996, starring Robin Williams), House of Sand and Fog, Last Rites, The Glass Shield (with Bernie Casey), and The Great White Hype.

Rodrigo has also voiced characters for film, television episodes and video games, such as Despicable Me, Life of Pi, Penguins of Madagascar, the 2012 Tomb Raider game, Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins, Mr. Peabody & Sherman, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Supernatural. Rodrigo also guest starred in SeaQuest 2032, The Nanny, Arliss, Charmed, The West Wing, and NYPD Blue.

Rodrigo also recorded ADR for X-Men: Days of Future Past, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Life of Pi, and Black Mass.
