Allen Rice is an actor who appeared as an Enterprise-B crewmember in Star Trek Generations. As a background actor he received no credit for his appearance. The call sheet for the fifth day of filming of Generations, dated 4 April 1994, lists "Allen" as "Starfleet Bridge" in the atmosphere section. He filmed his scenes on Paramount Stage 7. His uniform, including the name tag "A. Rice – Star Trek VII", was later worn by actor Neal Eastman in the Star Trek: Voyager third season episode "Flashback".

Rice worked as an actor in the 1990s. He was featured in episodes of The New Adam-12 (1990 and 1991, with Peter Parros, Scott Trost, and Ben Slack), Father Dowling Mysteries (1991, with Robert Bauer, Richard Riehle, Debi A. Monahan, David Anthony Marshall, and Stanley Kamel), Columbo (1991, with Ed McCready and Barron Christian and directed by Vincent McEveety), Jake and the Fatman (1992, with Allan Miller, Mary Kay Adams, Fran Bennett, Allan G. Royal, and Christopher Halsted), and Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1995, with Teri Hatcher, K Callan, and Don Pugsley and directed by Joseph L. Scanlan).

He also appeared in the 1996 television science fiction film The Tomorrow Man, working with Craig Wasson, James Saito, Deborah May, Cameron, Kathleen Garrett, and Marcy Goldman.
