For other groups called "the Alliance", see alliance.

The Alliance was one of the nation-states on a planet in 2152.

In 2152, This pre-warp civilization was visited by Enterprise NX-01. When Captain Jonathan Archer and Lieutenant Malcolm Reed were captured on the surface, their captors, led by General Gosis, believed that they were spies from the Alliance. In an effort to avoid cultural contamination, Archer convinced Gosis that they were indeed from the Alliance, equipped with experimental advanced technology, and that their Human physiologies were a result of genetic engineering. After they were rescued, Archer conceded that they might have caused damage anyway, by changing Gosis' people's perceptions of the Alliance. (ENT: "The Communicator")
