Alok Sahar was a Human Augment who served as a Section 31 operative during the early 24th century. He was the leader of Alpha Team, consisting of Quasi, Fuzz, Melle, and Zeph.

Sahar was born on Earth in the 1970s. His family was killed by the Augment known as Giri the Marked during the Eugenics Wars. Sahar was one of a band of ten who attempted to fight the Augment conquest; all of them were slain save for Sahar, who drew Giri's interest. She transformed him into an Augment and made him part of her army, where he committed atrocities in her name.

Following the end of the Eugenics Wars, Sahar was exiled from Earth and spent much of the ensuing centuries in suspended animation, until he was recruited by Section 31. Sahar sought to atone for his past, believing that it "always catches up with you" due to the workings of fate.

In 2324, Control dispatched Alpha Team, supervised by Lieutenant Rachel Garrett, to the Baraam to intercept the impending sale of a bioweapon by Dada Noe. Posing as a dealer of dulcet thistle, Sahar met with the Baraam's owner and former Section 31 agent Philippa Georgiou. He invited her to join them on this last mission, in lieu of arresting her and wiping her memory. The team subdued Noe, but the weapon was unexpectedly seized by an unidentified third party.

Sahar took Georgiou and Noe to a Section 31 safe house, where he learned that the weapon was in fact the Godsend, a Terran Empire device from the mirror universe capable of quadrant-wide destruction. The sabotage of Alpha Team's ship further revealed the presence of a mole among them. As a precaution, Sahar removed the asymptote coil from an abandoned garbage scow that was the only other transport off the planet.

Once the mole was determined to be Fuzz, working with Georgiou's former slave and lover San in a plot to destroy the Federation with the Godsend, Sahar returned the coil and the team set off in pursuit. They located San's ship in the Crescent Nebula, where the passageway to the mirror universe was due to open. Sahar and Georgiou boarded the ship; while she fought San, he fought and disabled Fuzz's conveyance. Sahar concurred with Georgiou's decision to detonate the Godsend inside the anomaly to seal it, though the two were beamed away by Quasi and Garrett seconds before the explosion.

Afterwards, Sahar returned with his team to the Baraam, where they received a new mission to Turkana IV from Control. (Star Trek: Section 31)

Sahar was played by Omari Hardwick.
