Alva IV was the fourth planet in its star system.
The planet's surface featured both forests and oceans. By 2382, one such forest was the site of a derelict Orion medical frigate from the time of the Great Plague over three hundred years prior. D'Vana Tendi and her band of Orion pirates fought with a group of Blue Orions for the right to salvage the frigate, with the former succeeding and piloting the ship off the surface.
