Andy Tsang is a Toronto-based graphic designer who worked as a graphic designer and was credited as First Assistant Art Director: Graphics and Concepts on Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Short Treks.
In-universe, the Tactical Ops personnel A. Tsang and A. Tsang (mirror) are listed on the USS and ISS Discovery's dedication plaques and are named after him.
Tsang was credited as the designer of the USS Shenzhou's dedication plaque. (The Art of Star Trek: Discovery, p. 32)
Before joining Star Trek, Tsang was First Assistant Art Director for Heroes Reborn alongside Property Master Mario Moreira, a series that featured Star Trek Into Darkness's Nazneen Contractor.
