Angelo Rossitto (18 February 1908 – 21 September 1991; age 83) from Omaha, Nebraska, was the actor who played a post atomic trial spectator in the Star Trek: The Next Generation first season episode "Encounter at Farpoint". He received no credit for his appearance. He is the earliest born Star Trek actor to appear on TNG.
Rossitto was only 2'11" (89 cm) tall but was one of Hollywood's busiest small actors, having appeared in more than seventy feature films. He died at the age of 83 from complications during surgery.
