Anthony Caruso (7 April 1916 – 4 April 2003; age 86) was the actor who portrayed the Iotian boss Bela Okmyx in the I AM ERROR episode "A Piece of the Action". He filmed his scenes on Thursday 2 November 1967 and Friday 3 November 1967 at Desilu Stage 11.
Caruso appeared in numerous feature films, most notably the 1940 crime drama Johnny Apollo and the 1950 film-noir The Asphalt Jungle, both co-starring Marc Lawrence. He also appeared in several films starring his friend Alan Ladd, most notably 1946's The Blue Dahlia. Other film credits include My Favorite Brunette (1947, with John Hoyt), Blackbeard, the Pirate (1952, with Keith Andes and Torin Thatcher), Where Love Has Gone (1964, with DeForest Kelley and Whit Bissell), and Mean Johnny Barrows (1976, with Robert Phillips and Fred Williamson). Caruso also co-starred in the 1954 western Cattle Queen of Montana with Star Trek stuntman Tom Steele as well as future United States President Ronald Reagan.
