Anthony Lake is a model and actor who appeared as a Ni'Var spectator in the Star Trek: Discovery third season episode "Unification III" and as a Ferengi Starfleet Captain in the fourth season episode "Anomaly (DIS)". [1] [2] As a background performer he was not credited for his appearances.

Between 2013 and 2015, Lake worked as recurring actor on all three seasons of the science fiction series Defiance along with Mia Kirshner, Conrad Coates, and Fionnula Flanagan. He also appeared in episodes of Killjoys (2015), Ransom (2017, starring Nazneen Contractor), and See No Evil (2017). Between 2014 and 2017, he was one of the recurring Strigoi in The Strain where he worked with Robin Atkin Downes, Roger Cross, Doug Jones, Ron Canada, Stephen McHattie, Leslie Hope, Clayton Scott, and Dwain Murphy. In addition, Lake worked as hand double on the Transporter: The Series episode "End Game" (2014).

Among his film work are background roles in the short horror film Candy (2015), The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again (2016, with Ben Vereen, Tyler Evan Webb, and Antonette Rudder), and the short drama Buzzard (2019).

More recently, Lake had a recurring background role as TSIB Agent in the first season of Departure (2019, with Shazad Latif, Christopher Plummer, and Thamela Mpumlwana) and featured roles in episodes of Jett (2019, with Dwain Murphy), What We Do in the Shadows (2019-20), and The Boys (2020, starring Karl Urban and Jack Quaid, with Ann Cusack).

On 13 March 2020, Lake married his husband Jeffrey.
