Antoine Lavoisier was a male Human chemist from 18th century Earth. He was known for the law of the conservation of mass.

In 2257, during his investigation of an organic transporter created by the alien May Ahearn, Paul Stamets name-dropped this scientist's name and used his law in an explanation of the cocoon's nature. (DIS: "Saints of Imperfection")

Lavoisier was only refered to by his last name.
