Arc was a place mentioned in the script of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, though not in the final movie. In the script, Martia claimed to be from Arc, where smuggling was an ancient and respected trade. While it was not used in the movie, it was mentioned in the novelization of the movie.
