The Arctic One type was a type of transport used by the Earth Sciences Institute during the 2150s. Their maximum speed was warp 1.4.
History[]
One of these vessels, Arctic One, was used for exploration of the Arctic Circle in 2153, and was outfitted with skis to better land in snowy conditions. The vessel and its crew were assimilated when the Borg corpses they were examining reanimated. (ENT: "Regeneration")
In early 2154, three of these vessels were among the Earth/Vulcan flotilla gathered in the Sol system to welcome Enterprise NX-01 back from the Delphic Expanse. (ENT: "Storm Front, Part II")
In an alternate 2156, two transports of the class were part of a rag-tag fugitive fleet headed for Ceti Alpha V following the destruction of Earth at the hands of the Xindi. (ENT: "Twilight")
