Tandro was remembered on Klaestron IV as a hero and a legend for his role in the war. In particular he was hailed as a martyr after being betrayed by someone close to him and falling prey to assassination. His memory inspired the army and society to put down the rebellion.
Nearly 30 years after his death, Tandro's son, Ilon Tandro, would pursue an extradition order against Jadzia Dax on charges that Dax had been the traitor when he had befriended the General as Curzon Dax. It was only the intervention of Tandro's widow, Enina Tandro, and her confession that Curzon had been in bed with her at the time of the murder that Ilon agreed to let Jadzia go.
In reality, the General himself had plotted to betray his army to the rebel faction in the war. The rebels had returned the favor by executing Tandro. Ardelon's betrayal remained a secret between Enina and Dax. (DS9: "Dax")
