Star chart with constellations, The Corbomite Maneuver remastered

The constellation star chart

For the ship of the same name, please see USS Aries.

Aries (Latin for "Ram") was a constellation.

Aries was partially visible on a viewscreen in the briefing room on the USS Enterprise in 2266. It was a star chart of the winter sky as seen from Earth. The constellation Aries was visible in the upper right corner of the chart and identified by name. (TOS: "The Corbomite Maneuver")

According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th ed., vol. 1, p. 44, the USS Aries was named for this constellation.
