Upon discovering the Native American colony on the planet Amerind in 2268, James T. Kirk compared it to discovering Atlantis or Shangri-La. (TOS: "The Paradise Syndrome")

In 2364, William T. Riker in comparing the myths of Atlantis, Neinman, and the planet Aldea, described them as "self-contained, peaceful, with incredible technical sophistication which provided for every citizen's daily needs, allowing them to devote themselves to culture and art, which was beautiful beyond compare and valued beyond price." (TNG: "When The Bough Breaks")

By the latter half of the 24th century, Earth scientists had devised a project dubbed "the New Atlantis Project" as a way of creating a new continent in the Atlantic Ocean, much like Atlantis once did. (TNG: "Family")

According to the Distant Origin Theory it is believed the Voth came from a planet far from their current region of space. Genetic evidence found descended from Dinosaurs on earth. The Doctor speculated that after surviving the K-T extinction event, the Voth evolved civilization and eventually left the planet on a now sunken or destroyed continent that is strongly implied to be Atlantis. (VOY: "Distant Origin")

This island was only mentioned in dialogue.
