Aubergine stew was a stew from Earth that included aubergines.

When Benjamin Sisko first met his future wife Jennifer in 2354, he offered to cook her aubergine stew for dinner, a dish that his father, a gourmet chef, was famous for. She was ambivalent, having just met him, but he persisted and she agreed. (DS9: "Emissary")

Sisko also made this stew for dinner for himself and his son in 2369, but Jake did not show up. When Jadzia Dax came along, she recognized this meal and ate it while Sisko left his quarters to search for Jake. (DS9: "The Nagus")
