August "Augie" Amarino (5 November 194025 January 2024; age 83) was an actor who appeared as a Federation President adviser in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country for which he filmed his scenes on Tuesday 4 June 1991 at Paramount Stage 8.

Born in California, Amarino's earliest known work in the entertainment industry is the position as stage manager for the Broadway run of the musical The Rocky Horror Show at the Belasco Theatre between March and April 1975. In the 1980s, Amarino was a member of the Screen Extras Guild and worked as background actor on episodes of Dynasty (1985, with Joan Collins, David Channell, Joel Marston, John Staible, Roberta Storm, and Roger Trantham), Blacke's Magic (1986, with Vince Howard, James Davison, Bruce Dobos, Peter Eastman, Fritz Herzog, Clay Hodges, Rex Pierson, and Geoff Vanderstock), The Colbys (1986, with Stephanie Beacham, Tracy Scoggins, Ricardo Montalban, Ray Wise, Shirley Anthony, Shirley Blackwell, John Blower, Devron Conrad, Bob Davis, Tim McCormack, Nils Nichols, Gene Poe, Evans Ricciardi, Tanis Van Kirk, Kai J. Wong, Judson Scott, Steve Hershon, Suzanne Lodge, John Hugh McKnight, and Roger Trantham), and L.A. Law (1986, with Corbin Bernsen, Christine Healy, Robert Costanzo, Ian Abercrombie, Richard McGonagle, John Blower, Anthony Gordon, and Eva Mar Pamintuan).

Between 1985 and 1989, he also appeared as a bar patron in twelve episodes of the sitcom Cheers in which he worked with John Hancock, David Paymer, Lee Allen, Suzanne Lodge, Joseph Paz, Kelsey Grammer, Fritz Herzog, Daniel Davis, Don Bennett, Rebecca Soladay, Hal Landon, Jr., Nick Dimitri, Tony Roque, John Vorges, Peter Eastman, Terry Green, Gene Poe, Kate Mulgrew, Michael G. In 1989, Amarino had his first credited acting role as superintendent in Manny Coto's short film Jack in the Box. Between 5 November 1994 and 29 January 1995, he portrayed the waiter in the play "No Problem" as part of "Life in the Trees" at the Melrose Theater in Hollywood. [1]

Romano), Anna's Dream (2002, with Ashley Sierra Hughes), and Adam & Steve (2005, with Jack Guzman, Thomas Kopache, Bruce Dobos, Yuri Elvin, Jack Nolan, and Woody Porter).

In addition to his acting work, Amarino also directed plays such as "Company of Angels" in 2002. [2]
