Babs Olusanmokun (born 18 September 1984; age 36) is a Nigerian-American actor. He will star as a series regular in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. [1]

Olusanmokun has appeared in various film and television roles since 2004. Among his early television roles are guest spots in four episodes of Criminal Intent in 2006, 2009 and 2010. He also appeared in episodes of The Unit and Veronica Mars (2007), Life on Mars and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2008), Blue Bloods and NYC 22 (2012, the latter also featuring Sonequa Martin-Green). He continued his television work with appearances on Copper (2013), Unforgettable and The Blacklist (2014) and Gotham in 2015, before playing Omoro Kinte in the 2016 remake of the mini-series Roots, appearing in an episode with Dominic Burgess. The same year he also appeared in an episode of another mini-series, The Night Of. 2017 saw him in a recurring role on The Defenders and 2018 in three episodes of Sneaky Pete and an episode of Black Mirror. In 2019, he performed recurring roles in The Widow and the mini-series Too Old to Die Young. In addition to Strange New Worlds, he will appear in the 2021 mini-series The Drowning.

He also voiced characters in the video games Max Payne 3 (2012) and Red Dead Redemption (2018).
