The Bajoran science probe was a type of probe used by the Bajorans in the late 24th century. Following the discovery of the Bajoran wormhole, Bajor sent several science probes into the Gamma Quadrant.
In 2370, one probe sent back data from a planet designated as L-S VI which recorded DNA patterns much like Odo's. Doctor Mora Pol saw the probe's data and made preparations to visit the planet. (DS9: "The Alternate")
