Barbara Alyn Woods (born 11 March 1962; age 62) is the actress who portrayed Kareen Brianon in the Star Trek: The Next Generation second season episode "The Schizoid Man". This appearance was her first Hollywood acting role.

Born in Chicago, Woods starred as Diane Szalinski on Disney's Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show alongside Thomas Dekker. It was on that series that she met her current husband, John Lind, who served as an assistant director on the show. The series ran from 1997 through 2000. Woods also starred on the WB series One Tree Hill, from 2003 to 2012.

After her appearance on The Next Generation, Woods went on to guest-star on such TV shows as Mr. Belvedere (which had Rosemary Forsyth as a regular cast member), The Golden Girls, Empty Nest (in an episode with fellow Next Generation guest star Biff Yeager), Dream On (starring Chris Demetral and Wendie Malick, Paul Dooley and Michael McKean), Wings (starring Steven Weber), Picket Fences (with Roy Brocksmith, Leigh Taylor-Young, and Ray Walston), Seinfeld (starring Jason Alexander), Murder, She Wrote (in an episode with Robin Curtis and William Windom), and Touched by an Angel. She also appeared in a 1999 episode of Ally McBeal with fellow Next Generation guest star Albert Hall and Star Trek: Voyager star Robert Picardo. Woods also made regular appearances on Chucky, which also featured Brad Dourif and Rachael Ancheril.

Woods made her feature film debut in The Terror Within II (1990, co-starring Brad Blaisdell). That same year, she co-starred with Jim Metzler and Dennis Christopher in Circuitry Man She later co-starred with Metzler in Delusion (1991, also starring Robert Costanzo). Her other film credits include Repossessed (1990), The Waterdance (1992, with Susan Gibney and Elizabeth Dennehy), Flesh and Bone (1993), and Striptease (1996, with Keone Young and Paul Guilfoyle).
