Barbara Eve Harris (born 8 March 1959; age 65) is a Tobagonian-Canadian actress who played Emmy Bosch in the Star Trek: Picard first season episode "The Impossible Box".
Harris' best known television role is as Commander Emma Crowley in the slate of series set in the Windy City, primarily portraying Crowley on Chicago: PD and to a lesser extent on Chicago: Fire. In her time on the former, beginning in the third season in 2016, Harris appeared in "Looking Out For Stateville" with Clancy Brown, "The Cases That Need To Be Solved" with Ser'Darius Blain, and "She's Got Us" directed by Lin Oeding. Continuing that year in the fourth season, Harris appeared in "Some Friend" with Billy Burke, which remains her last episode in the franchise to feature another Trek alum.
Preceding Harris's role on the Chicago franchise, Harris had a featured role on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation starring Paul Guilfoyle and Wallace Langham, in the twelfth season episodes "Maid Men", "Brain Doe", and "Crime After Crime", all in 2011. In 2012, Harris appeared in "Tressed to Kill" and the season finale "Homecoming", featuring recurring performer Conor O'Farrell, as well as Enrique Murciano and Mike Starr.
