When the USS Voyager was traveling through a void, Neelix ordered bergamot tea (hot) when he started to hyperventilate in his quarters. (VOY: "Night")
- Since Earl Grey tea is flavored with bergamot, there is a possibility that this tea is the same as or similar to Earl Grey. The term may have been thrown in by the writers of "Night" as a subtle reference to the tea which Captain Jean-Luc Picard favored.
