The award base in detail

Picard's award was one of the props displayed at Comic Con's exhibit Jean-Luc Picard: The First Duty in the summer of 2019. [1] It was seen up close in second season premier of The Ready Room. The award features the first canon depiction of the Betazoid insignia, prominently featuring the Holy Rings of Betazed, since their introduction in "Encounter at Farpoint".
According to the website Ex Astris Scientia, the logo was created by a fan with the alias Zeleni in 2007 for a fan-based game called "Birth of the Federation 2". [2]
