Bill Couch, Sr. (3 September 192625 February 1999; age 72) was a stuntman, stunt actor, and stunt coordinator who performed stunts in Star Trek: The Motion Picture (credited as "William Couch") and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (credited as "Bill Couch, Sr.") He was also the stunt coordinator (credited as "Bill Couch") for the latter film. In Star Trek: The Motion Picture he served as stunt double for William Shatner.

He was the father of fellow Star Trek II stuntman Bill Couch, Jr. and the younger brother of Star Trek stuntman Chuck Couch.

Among his extensive stunt and stunt acting resume are films such as The Green Berets (1968, with George Takei), The Love Bug (1968, with Jesse Wayne and Glenn R. Wilder), Dirty Harry (1971, with Andrew Robinson), King Kong (1976, with René Auberjonois), The Blues Brothers (1980), Brainstorm (1983, with Louise Fletcher and Donald Hotton), Ghostbusters (1984, with Tom Morga), Poltergeist II: The Other Side (1986, with stunts by Dana Dru Evenson), Harry and the Hendersons (1987, with Kevin Peter Hall, William Frankfather, John Bloom, and stunts by Carey Loftin), and Montana (1990, with Michael Rider).

His resume also includes television series such as The Munsters, The Green Hornet, Mannix, Magnum, P.I., and Supercarrier.

He passed away in Burbank, California following a battle with Parkinson's disease and diabetes, at the age of 72.
