Bill Nunes (4 January 1925–27 January 2004; age 79) [1] was a cartoonist employed at Filmation studios as an animator on Star Trek: The Animated Series. He worked in the motion picture industry from 1959 to 1993, with his first animation assignment being an uncredited animation assistant in the Walt Disney classic, Cinderella, with animation checker Jane Philippi. was a member of The Animation Guild Local 839 IATSE. In addition to animating, from 1986 to 1988, he also directed over a dozen cartoon episodes for Filmation.
