William "Billy" Everett Mayo (31 December 19574 June 2019; age 61), was an actor who played a police officer in the Star Trek: Enterprise third season episode "Carpenter Street".

Mayo played professional football and served in the Marine Corps before he has started his acting career. He is also a stage actor and has received three Drama Logue Awards.

Among his acting resume are films such as Murder at Midnight (1994), Introducing Dorothy Dandridge (1999, with Brent Spiner, Mark Bramhall, Tom Virtue, Raphael Sbarge, Clement von Franckenstein, Benjamin Brown, and stunt coordinated by LaFaye Baker), The Perfect Storm (2000), and Jonathan Frakes' Clockstoppers (2002, with Ken Jenkins, Gina Hecht, Jenette Goldstein, Jeff Ricketts, and stunts by Brian Avery, Joni Avery, Rick Avery, Joey Box, Phil Chong, Kevin Derr, and Justin Sundquist).

More recently he has appeared in television series such as Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1995, with Teri Hatcher, K Callan, and Gerrit Graham), Space: Above and Beyond (1995, with Lanei Chapman), Beverly Hills, 90210 (1996), ER (1995 and 1999), 7th Heaven (1997 and 1999, starring Catherine Hicks and Stephen Collins), JAG (2001), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2002), 24 (2002, with Timothy Carhart, Michelle Forbes, and Tracy Middendorf), Crossing Jordan (2003), The West Wing (2003), Lost (2004, starring Daniel Dae Kim and Terry O'Quinn), Monk (2006), Grey's Anatomy (2007), and Boston Legal (2005 and 2007, with William Shatner, Rene Auberjonois, Richard Fancy, Stephen Lee, Lawrence Pressman and Mark L.
